The absolute classic among professional exposure meters in its latest version. The popular predecessor L-398M had to be discontinued due to the unavailability of selenium cells. Therefore, Sekonic here uses an amorphous silicon cell for the first time in an exposure meter, which also operates without batteries and guarantees functionality even under extreme climatic conditions. The rotatable dome for light measurements can be swapped for a supplied attachment for object measurements, and optional measuring apertures allow for direct reading of aperture values. The analog display with a high-quality needle measuring mechanism caters to a traditional, conscious working method.
