The star-delta combination is designed for gentle starting of three-phase asynchronous motors. The 3RA24 is a tested and factory pre-assembled combination of three contactors 3RT2, which are already pre-wired and mechanically and electrically interlocked. The included function module with integrated control logic and time setting replaces the entire wiring in the control circuit. They are climate-proof, globally approved (e.g., IEC and UL/CSA), and IE3/IE4 ready.

3RA24 star-delta combinations are available with AC and DC actuation in sizes S00 to S3. They are offered in screw and spring-cage connection technology for mounting on top-hat rails or screw fastening. Variants for connection to IO-Link or AS-Interface are also available. 3RT2 contactor accessories are standardized for all sizes and can also be used for contactor combinations.
