The SmallRig Shoulder Pad Pro 2837C is designed for the Sony VCT-14 quick release plate. It consists of a SmallRig quick release plate on top, where the camera is mounted, and a Manfrotto 501 quick release plate that connects to a shoulder pad. The 2837C allows for quick transitions between shoulder, handheld, and tripod shots. It features standard M6 ARRI rosette mounts on both sides, compatible with the original control handles of the 1810 or FX9 cameras, as well as two rod systems at the front and rear with a 15 mm diameter and 60 mm spacing. Notably, the front rod clamp can be adjusted vertically by 27 mm to ensure an 85 mm distance between the lens center and rod center for cameras like the FX9, FS5, URSA MINI, CANON C300, and others. The 2837C also helps balance your camera on your shoulder or rig and install the follow-focus system and matte box, thanks to the built-in Manfrotto 501 quick release plate that can slide forward 0-80 mm and the SmallRig quick release plate that can slide backward 0-120 mm. You do not need to remove the follow-focus system or the matte box, as the front rod system fits with the Manfrotto 501 plate. Additional features of the 2837C include 1/4"-20 threaded holes and 3/8"-16 threaded holes in the V-shaped base plate, which support various other quick release plates and tripods. The item comes with a new silicone shoulder pad that is ergonomically shaped for a soft and comfortable feel on the human shoulder. Additionally, there is a built-in flat screwdriver for easy access.
