The Sonor NG-31 Alto Glockenspiel is a high-quality percussion instrument that is ideal for elementary music education. With a range from c2 to b3 and 23 chromatically tuned sound plates made of specially alloyed steel, this glockenspiel offers a clear and bright sound that delights both children and adults. The sound plates are mounted on a curved resonance box made of solid beech wood and beech plywood, which further enhances the sound quality. The instrument comes with a pair of wooden mallets specifically designed for use with this glockenspiel. To optimally protect the glockenspiel, a matching padded transport and storage bag made of tear-resistant, water-repellent nylon is included. This bag features internal compartments for the mallets and a convenient carrying handle, allowing for safe transport of the glockenspiel.
