Sonor ZM 6555 Hi-Hat cymbal holder for mounting hi-hat cymbals on a snare drum. Sonor is a German company that produces drums and other percussion instruments. The term "sonor" comes from Latin and means deep and resonant. Sonor was founded in 1875 in Weissenfels an der Saale by the carpenter Johannes Link. The company initially manufactured drumheads and military drums. After World War II, the Link family was expropriated, and Sonor was rebuilt in 1946 in Aue, North Rhine-Westphalia. Today, the Sonor factories in Bad Berleburg-Aue produce percussion instruments of international acclaim. Model: ZM 6555 Hi-Hat holder for parade snare drum.
