Die Bildmitte ist bei beiden Blenden sehr gut, der Abfall hin zum Rand hin ist jedoch recht ausgeprägt. Zudem wird hier die chromatische Aberration nicht restlos korrigiert. Insgesamt wirken Bilder hier jedoch sehr scharf und gesättigt. Die Qualität der Verarbeitung und der Materialien ist hoch, wobei auch der schnelle und flotte Autofokus und die einwandfreie Gängigkeit zu den Stärken zu zählen ist...
Die Gesamtleistung des Sony Modells ist als gut zu werten, wobei bis auf die Anfangsöffnung die Schärfe sowie Sättigung außer bei 3,5 gelungen sind. Auch bei der Wahl der Materialien sowie der Verarbeitung hat der Hersteller alles richtig gemacht, wobei der AF sehr schell sowie leise arbeitet. Leider ist kein Bildstabilisator mit an Bord.
