This 3-port Mini PCI Express FireWire card MPEX1394B3 is a PCI Express to FireWire 800/FireWire 400 adapter that allows you to expand a very small or embedded system with an external FireWire connection. The PCIe FireWire card features two FireWire 800 ports and one FireWire 400 port. This adapter card also supports the latest external FireWire storage devices with data transfer speeds of up to 800 MBit/s. Due to its compact size, the Mini PCI Express adapter card (Mini card) is suitable for use with the latest very small computer systems such as Mini-ITX or custom embedded solutions where a standard-sized PCI Express card cannot be used.
