Product details

The two younger children attended Polish schools, while his older two children temporarily still went to German schools. His sisters, who had married teachers, moved to the part of Upper Silesia that remained German. After the early death of my father, caused by Polish insurgents, my mother preferred to relocate to the German-held part of Upper Silesia. My uncle Johann, who inherited his father's brick factory, opted for Poland and was able to keep the factory. He sent his children to Polish schools, and the oldest attended a Polish school.
