The Tama TW100 Tension Watch is a helpful tool for optimally tuning drumheads. The Tension Watch accurately measures the head tension, which can be read on its easy-to-read dial. This tool saves you a lot of time when tuning heads and allows you to measure your preferred head tension and refer back to it when putting on new heads. To measure the tension, the Tension Watch is placed next to each tension rod on the drumhead. The tension is adjusted equally at each tension rod to achieve perfect tuning for the drum.
