Tamron

The world's first zoom lens with a 16.6x magnification for APS-C cameras. The 18-300mm F/3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD is a revolutionary all-in-one zoom lens that covers an impressive focal length range of approximately 27mm to 450mm (35mm equivalent). With a 16.6x magnification, it is the first of its kind for mirrorless APS-C cameras and is available for Sony E-Mount and Fujifilm X-Mount. It offers unparalleled versatility for a variety of photographic applications – from wide-angle landscapes to detailed telephoto shots. The carefully tuned optical system includes several special glasses that ensure exceptionally high image quality throughout the entire zoom range. The resolution remains consistently high from the center to the edges of the image, making this lens ideal for demanding photographers.

As with other TAMRON lenses, the filter diameter is 67mm, making it easier to use standard filters. The powerful VC image stabilizer and fast, precise VXD autofocus (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) make the lens the perfect companion for any situation – whether for photo or video. The 18-300mm F/3.5-6.3 is the perfect choice for anyone seeking maximum flexibility and the highest image quality in a compact and lightweight zoom lens – now available for Sony and Fujifilm.

Key specifications

Lens type

Bayonet lens mount

A lens mount is an interface — mechanical and often also electrical — between a photographic camera body and a lens. It is confined to cameras where the body allows interchangeable lenses, most usually the single lens reflex type or any movie camera of 16 mm or higher gauge. Lens mounts are also used to connect optical components in instrumentation that may not involve a camera, such as the modular components used in optical laboratory prototyping which join via C-mount or T-mount elements.

Compatible Nikon Z mount

The 18-300 mm focal length range covers everything from wide-angle to telephoto photography with just a single lens.

Versatile focal length range

The maximum aperture of f/3.5-6.3 leads to limitations in low-light conditions and offers less background separation.
