... The drop in resolution is again very low, that of the contrast moderate. Stopping down almost cancels it out - but that is already f/11 in our measurement. At open aperture 6.7, the values in the centre of the image almost correspond to those at 275mm, but the drop in contrast and resolution at the edges is now more pronounced...

The new Tamron 150-500mm F/5-6.7Di III VC VXD is a special lens for sports and nature photographers who expect extreme telephoto performance for comparatively little money. The lens is very well made and pleases with its many setting options and fast autofocus.
