The PO-20 Arcade features 16 synthesis-based video game, console, and chiptune sounds that are controlled via the built-in step sequencer. The pocket synthesizers from the Swedish cult brand Teenage Engineering have no casing, making all components and the circuit board directly visible and part of the design. Power is supplied by 2 standard (AAA) micro batteries. Additionally, each Pocket Operator includes an animated LCD display, a built-in speaker, a curved wire stand, Jam Sync for synchronizing with other devices, line in and out (3.5 mm jack), and conveniently, a built-in alarm clock. With Parameter Lock, automations can be recorded per step. Effects include filters, bit-crusher, delay, and stutter, among others.
