The N series includes widely used coaxial connectors of medium size. They feature a screw connection and are waterproof at the mating face. Depending on the design, they can be used at frequencies of up to 11 GHz. The characteristic impedance is 50 Ω. Connector variants are available for flexible, semi-flexible, semi-rigid, and corrugated cables. Cables can be connected depending on the design by crimping, clamping, or soldering. Due to their construction, they achieve very good electrical values for return loss (VSWR) and intermodulation. The N series connectors are vibration-resistant and are used in signal and data transmission. N connectors are particularly suitable for coaxial connections for transmitting medium power at high frequencies.
