Window pass-throughs are used to guide a coaxial cable without the need for drilling through masonry or window frames. The flat ribbon cable with two F-connectors is simply placed or glued between the window and the frame, and then connected on both sides to the coaxial cables using F-connectors. This creates a loss-free connection of digital TV signals from the satellite system to the receiver.
