Rahel, an Israeli lawyer with her own practice in Jerusalem, is committed to her Palestinian neighbors and addresses their everyday problems. As a result, she finds herself in the crosshairs of the authorities and must worry about her own safety and that of her partner Elias. However, since she has made the concept of human rights her mission, she refuses to be deterred from her goals. When her ex-husband David, known as a hawk, starts to stalk her and threatens her personally, she begins to fight back even harder. She encounters Yasin, an extraordinary Palestinian, which brings her further family troubles. This adds a special allure to her philosophy.
