The handle connects to an iPhone through an integrated USB-C cable and uses Bluetooth to control focus and zoom via the adjustment wheel on the front of the handle. This provides better control over both functions and allows the user to change the focus slowly without having to tap the screen and jump to a new focus point.

The handle also offers greater stability when operating the system, and the shutter button ensures that the user does not have to let go of the handle to start recording.
