The very compact and powerful 3-part heating element is ideal for the construction of climate and drying chambers in industrial, stationary installations or as a replacement part. Due to the PTC behavior of the element, no additional control electronics are required. When the maximum heating temperature is reached, the power consumption decreases, thereby preventing self-destruction of the module. By removing individual heating plates, the heating output can be varied. When operated with three heating plates at an ambient temperature of 25 °C and an airflow of 3 m/s through the element, the electrical power consumed can be up to 150 W. In continuous operation without airflow (T amb = 25 °C), the current consumption is approximately 1.75 A. The side-mounted mounting tabs facilitate the installation of the element.
