When connecting an iPad or another tablet that requires more power, this USB 3.0 hub can synchronize but will not charge. The standard USB 3.0 port of a laptop can handle a maximum of 900 mA.

Wireless 2.4 GHz devices, MIDI devices, and some USB 3.0 devices may not be supported. Try using the host port or a USB 2.0 connection.
