The Urth 67-62mm adapter ring enables compatibility between 75mm square filter holders and lenses with 62mm filter threads. This precision-machined aluminum adapter converts the 67mm connection of standard square filter holders to fit lenses with 62mm front threads, allowing photographers to use square filter systems with a wider range of lenses. The adapter features a slim profile measuring approximately 5 mm in thickness and weighing around 15 g, minimizing vignetting while maintaining structural integrity. Constructed from durable anodized aluminum, the adapter provides secure mounting with precise threading that ensures proper alignment and prevents light leaks. The black matte finish reduces reflections that could interfere with image quality. This adapter is specifically designed for photographers who use square filter systems and require compatibility with lenses featuring 62mm filter threads. The adapter maintains the optical quality of attached filters by providing a stable, parallel mounting surface. Proper installation involves threading the adapter directly onto the lens filter threads, then attaching the 75mm square filter holder to the adapter's 67mm threads. The adapter is compatible with most standard 75mm square filter holder systems and works with various filter types including neutral density, graduated neutral density, and polarizing filters. When not in use, the compact design allows for easy storage in camera bags or filter cases. This adapter represents a practical solution for photographers seeking to expand their filter system compatibility without requiring multiple filter holder sizes. The precision engineering ensures reliable performance in various shooting conditions while maintaining the optical integrity of the filter system. Regular cleaning with a soft cloth is recommended to maintain optimal performance and prevent debris from affecting the threading mechanism.
