The Atom 500 SDI Wireless Video Transmitter and Receiver Kit from Vaxis is equipped with 3G SDI and HDMI connections, allowing the transmission of H.265 video signals to the Vaxis receiver with a latency of less than 80 ms.

The transmitter sends a powerful line-of-sight signal up to 150 meters and can also multicast over Wi-Fi to up to three mobile monitoring devices. The transmitter features a 3G SDI and an HDMI input, while the receiver has a 3G SDI and an HDMI output. Each device has a bright, clear OLED display and a fan that can be turned on and off to minimize noise during production. Power is supplied via the USB-C port with the included cable or through an NP-F battery on the integrated board. The USB port can also be used for firmware updates.

The kit transmits 1080p60 i60 wireless video up to 150 meters and has 13 optimized channels. It supports multicast for video transmission over Wi-Fi to up to three iOS devices running the Vaxis Vision app. The lightweight metal housing ensures both devices are the same size with integrated antennas. A long press on the right menu button displays a QR code that simplifies the connection of a smartphone for device control. The device supports both manual and automatic channel scanning.
