In collaboration with world-renowned drummer and drum teacher Mike Johnston, Vic Firth has developed a drumstick model that, while specifically designed for him, is likely to appeal to drummers worldwide. Mike's goal was to create a stick that unobtrusively does its job, allowing drummers to focus on developing their skills behind the kit. Mike contemplated every possible design decision to find the perfect combination of tip shape, taper, length, diameter, material, and performance, all contributing to the best possible drumstick. With a diameter between 5A and 5B, this stick feels instantly comfortable for almost any drummer. The long taper offers impressive balance and excellent responsiveness.
