Viltrox

Viltrox AF 16mm f/1.8 is a versatile and high-performance lens that is ideal for a wide range of photography needs. Its ultra-wide angle and large aperture make it an excellent choice for landscape, architecture, and astrophotography, as well as creative video work that requires close-up capabilities and expansive backgrounds.

The lens is durable and lightweight, making it perfect for both photographers and videographers. Four extra-low dispersion elements and three aspherical elements ensure excellent sharpness while reducing sagittal coma distortion that can alter star shapes. The optical design also minimizes ghosting and reflections when capturing starry skies and long exposures at night.

Viltrox FE-16 F1.8 AF offers excellent value for money, providing outstanding performance and features at a competitive price compared to similar lenses from other brands.

Key specifications

Lens type

Bayonet lens mount

A lens mount is an interface — mechanical and often also electrical — between a photographic camera body and a lens. It is confined to cameras where the body allows interchangeable lenses, most usually the single lens reflex type or any movie camera of 16 mm or higher gauge. Lens mounts are also used to connect optical components in instrumentation that may not involve a camera, such as the modular components used in optical laboratory prototyping which join via C-mount or T-mount elements.
