Product details
Fieldbus Coupler CANopen D-Sub
The ECO fieldbus couplers are designed for applications with a low data bandwidth in the process image. These primarily include applications with digital process data or applications where only a few analog process data are used.
The system power supply is provided directly at the coupler. The field supply is connected via a separate feed terminal.
The CANopen bus coupler detects all connected I/O terminals and creates a local process image from them.
The local process image is divided into an input and output data area. The process data can be read via the CANopen bus and further processed in a controller. The process output data is transmitted via the CANopen bus.
The data from the analog terminals is mapped into the PDOs in the order of their position after the bus coupler. The bits from the digital terminals are combined into bytes and also mapped into the PDOs. If the number of digital I/O exceeds 8 bits, the coupler automatically starts another byte.
Entries in the object directory can be mapped as needed to the 5 Rx PDOs and 5 Tx PDOs.
The entire input and output data area can be transmitted using the SDOs.
Placeholders can be set via software.
