The relay module controls a connected actuator. The 24V supply through the power contacts is required for relay operation. The switch (1/0) for manual operation always indicates the relay's switching state. An auto/manual switch allows the operating mode to be set. The operating mode is indicated by an LED and transmitted as a status bit in the process image.

Manual: The coil control is interrupted. Activation is only possible via the red manual control switch.
Auto: Relay activation is performed by the control system. Manual state changes via the manual control are reset by the control system in less than 500 ms.

The manual control can also be used without a 24V supply to switch the actuator. The relay complies with both international standards according to IEC and DIN EN 61810 Part 1 / VDE 0435 Part 201 and the requirements for short-term overloads and short-circuit resistance according to IEC and EN 61036 / 61037.
