The fieldbus connector is used to connect a PROFIBUS participant to the PROFIBUS bus line.

The fieldbus connector is characterized by the following features:

  • Compact design, making it particularly suitable for connection to an S7 PLC.
  • No parts that can be lost.
  • 2 horizontal cable entries for input and output.
  • Fast and maintenance-free CAGE CLAMP® connection with lockable terminals via a push button.
  • Externally operable switch for turning the termination on or off.

For the first and last bus participant, the termination switch must be set to "ON" (termination resistor activated, outgoing bus line disconnected). For subsequent bus participants, it should be set to "OFF" (termination resistor deactivated).
