Fieldbus Coupler PROFINET IO, 3rd Generation, ECO Advanced. This fieldbus coupler connects the WAGO I/O SYSTEM 750 with PROFINET IO, the open industrial real-time Ethernet standard for automation. The fieldbus coupler detects the connected I/O modules and creates local process images for an IO controller and an IO supervisor according to the projected target configurations. This can involve a mixed arrangement of analog, complex (word-wise data exchange), and digital (bit-wise data exchange) modules. The fieldbus coupler acts as the IO device in the network and features an integrated 2-port switch. This allows for the simple construction of a line topology without additional network components. The device name can either be assigned via the DCP protocol or instantiated using a predefined name through the DIP switch.
