The cage provides unrestricted access to all essential compartments such as the battery compartment, interface output, or card slot. The hot shoe flash and XLR adapter can still be used thanks to a cutout for the hot shoe.

The included hot shoe and numerous ¼ inch threaded holes allow for the attachment of accessories such as continuous lights, monitors, or microphones. With the flexibly mountable handle, you can balance your camera system at any time, resulting in significantly better filming results.

Like all Aptaris cages, the Sony Alpha 6300/6500 cage is equipped with a quick-change mechanism for easy attachment to an Aptaris rod module. The optionally available Aptaris tripod adapter also allows for quick switching to a tripod. Weighing approximately 300 g, the Aptaris Sony Alpha 6300/6500 is about 25% lighter than the camera itself.
