Thanks to the Aptaris quick-release system, you can quickly use a second-unit camera on the Aptaris Plate and your main camera, for example, in an Aptaris Universal XL Cage with the same shoulder rig. Additionally, both the Aptaris Plate and the 15mm Rod Clamp each provide 3 ¼ inch threads for additional accessories. With this quick-release plate, you can easily use Aptaris as a rig system without a cage. This practical accessory is much more than just a quick-release plate that allows you to comfortably switch between rig and tripod while filming: it features three ¼ inch threads to which you can attach, for example, a Magic Arm and thus other accessories. The plate complies with the Manfrotto P501 standard, making it compatible with the most common tripods. For use with the rig system, it is mounted directly on the rod module. For even more flexibility, walimex pro offers a rod module for the innovative walimex pro Aptaris cage system. The rod module can be easily mounted to the main unit using an innovative quick-release solution. For professional results, you can attach additional accessories such as a follow focus or a matte box for blocking sunlight to the rods with a diameter of 15 mm.
