Among all the phasers available at the time, one pedal stood out for its flexibility, sound quality, and the ability to add a fuzz effect, which was quickly adopted by funk bass pioneer Larry Graham as the core of his unique sound with Sly and The Family Stone and his own Graham Central Station.
