The PoE HAT (B) is an 802.3af compliant Power-over-Ethernet accessory for the Raspberry Pi 3B+/4B. By using this small HAT and suitable 802.3af compatible power supply units, it is possible to provide both network connectivity and power to your Raspberry Pi through a single Ethernet cable. The Waveshare PoE HAT is designed to allow another HAT to be stacked on top. The small OLED display can show current statuses such as IP address, temperature, and fan status in real-time.

Features of the Waveshare PoE Power over Ethernet HAT B:

  • Standard Raspberry Pi 40 pin GPIO header, supports Raspberry Pi 3B+/4B
  • PoE (Power over Ethernet) compatible, 802.3af compliant
  • Fully isolated switch-mode power supply (SMPS)
  • 0.91 inch OLED display for monitoring processor temperature, IP address, and fan status in real-time
  • Onboard fan, allows automatic operation upon power-up or programmable control, configurable via a switch
  • Integrated IO expander PCF8574 for I2C bus, with pin P0 for direct fan control and additional IO replacement pins provided as solder pads on the side.
