The four fairy tales written in rhymes by the Brothers Grimm: - The Bremen Town Musicians, - Little Red Riding Hood, - Hansel and Gretel, and - The Wolf and the Seven Young Kids are particularly well-suited for reading exercises with distributed roles and for role-playing in groups. At the same time, they serve as preparation for first performances in elementary schools, theater clubs, and similar settings. The rhymed verses make it much easier for students to present the texts freely. Included are detailed instructions for performing the fairy tales, each in two acts, in which the entire class can participate. A short version of the tales is also provided for those children who are not yet familiar with the story.
