These narrow tweezers solder tips from Weller are ideal for soldering and desoldering very small SMD components. The integrated active solder tip provides extremely high performance, short heating time, and excellent response time. The heating element and sensors are firmly integrated into the tweezers solder tip. When the soldering temperature is reduced, the tip quickly responds to the change. This design ensures performance at the soldering point. RTW tips can be used with Weller WXMP, WMRP, WXMT, and WMRT. Weller soldering iron tips have been designed with the latest industry developments in mind and are developed and tested at the Weller Research and Development Center in Germany. Weller soldering tips consist of a high-quality copper core that effectively conducts heat to the soldering point, with an iron-containing coating to extend the lifespan of the solder tips. The solder tip itself is tinned to prevent oxidation and is corrosion-resistant due to nickel plating. Finally, the tip is coated with a special chrome layer that limits the wetting area and improves accuracy.
