Product details

With this hammer soldering iron, you get a powerful tool equipped with a high-quality copper tip. It is the optimal aid for soldering copper and galvanized steel sheets up to 1 mm thick, as well as fine zinc. The tool is also ideal for soft soldering on gutters and for soldering with alloyed zinc in roofing applications.

Since the tip is made of copper, this device differs from conventional soldering irons. Copper offers higher thermal conductivity and has a melting temperature of over 1,000 °C, allowing for particularly high temperatures to be reached. Additionally, the tool gets its name from the tip, which is shaped like a chisel and resembles a hammer. This copper hammer is encased in a metal head that serves as a wind shield. If needed, the tip can be removed by loosening a screw, allowing the tool to be used like a standard soldering torch.

For comfortable handling, the handle is pleasantly coated. To set the device down, the soldering iron features a stand that can be folded out or in as needed. The hammer soldering iron is equipped with a 3/8" safety connection and operates on gas (propane LPG).

Important: For a safe connection to a standard gas bottle, a pressure regulator is always required (this is not included). An adapter with specific dimensions is also needed for the use of the pressure regulator (this is not included).
