The indestructible Zebra DS3608 area imager offers above-average performance and extreme durability. Thanks to its innovative housing design and area imaging technology, there are no moving parts. As a result, the well-balanced hand-held scanner is almost completely dust and waterproof (IP67) and offers drop resistance of up to 2.40 metres. This makes the DS3608 perfect for any application in adverse indoor and outdoor conditions, even at extreme temperatures from -30°C to +50°C. Whether standard, HD or DPM barcodes, the DS3608 offers a dedicated variant for every application and captures almost all 1D and 2D barcodes quickly and reliably with a range of up to 21 metres. Read confirmation is provided by practical triple feedback: two bright LEDs in the field of view, a clear sound and a brief vibration. This ensures clarity after every scan and significantly increases user efficiency. The DS3608 has a practical multi-interface as standard. Depending on requirements, it can be connected via USB, RS232 or KBW interface.
