1. FeinTech Switch

Alternatively, analog stereo sound can be transmitted to headphones or active speakers, or digital 2.0/5.1 sound via SPDIF Toslink. The audio EDID can be manually changed using the audio mode switch. With the audio mode switch, you can set the audio format that the HDMI source provides, as long as the audio track is available. Please note that the same audio format applies to all outputs. Most TVs cannot process 7.1 audio and will remain silent. For HD audio, output via SPDIF or analog is not possible. HD audio formats such as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD can only be transmitted via HDMI. Through SPDIF Toslink, digital stereo (LPCM 2.0) or 5.1 audio (Dolby Digital / AC-3 or DTS) can be transmitted, depending on the source material. Digital audio formats do not have volume; this can only be controlled at the audio amplifier. Therefore, with SPDIF connection, you can only adjust the volume on the AV receiver or soundbar. With HDMI audio connection, indirect volume control is possible if the devices support HDMI-CEC. Switching between inputs occurs automatically (auto-switching) or manually via remote control or button. When you turn on a connected HDMI source, it automatically switches to that input. If you turn off the HDMI source, it switches back to the previously used HDMI input. Some devices do not turn off their HDMI output in standby mode, so the switch always receives a signal from an active device. To avoid this, you can disable the auto-switching function. ARC (Audio Return Channel) for outputting TV sound via the digital output is supported, but there is no output at the analog output.

5. FeinTech SP210 HDMI 2.1 Splitter 1 In 2 Out | 4K 120Hz | Downscaler

The SP210 HDMI 2.1 Splitter distributes the signal from a source device to two displays simultaneously, without the need to switch between screens. It supports resolutions up to 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz, ensuring lossless video and audio transmission. For gaming, the splitter offers VRR and ALLM to reduce screen tearing and improve response times. Both displays receive the same signal unless different resolutions require the use of the downscaler, which adjusts the image accordingly. The splitter supports HDMI-CEC, allowing you to control the source device with your TV remote. The EDID management automatically adjusts the signal to match the capabilities of your displays, and the EDID switch enables manual optimization of the signal format.

6. FeinTech SW211 HDMI 2.1 8K Bi-Directional Switch 2 In 1 Out | Splitter 1 In 2 Out | Pigtail

The SW211 is a bi-directional HDMI switch that allows you to switch between two sources on one display or between two displays connected to one source. The "pigtail" version with an integrated HDMI cable (approximately 50 cm) makes connection particularly easy. Switching is done via a button, with only the selected display receiving the HDMI signal. An LED indicator shows the chosen connection (blue for connection 1, green for connection 2). Power is supplied through the HDMI signal, so a separate power supply is not required. The switch supports all HDMI 2.1 features such as 4K at 120 Hz, VRR, ALLM, 8K at 60 Hz, and many common audio formats, including Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD. It has a maximum data rate of 48 Gbps and supports a variety of video formats, including HDR and Dolby Vision. The SW211 is ideal for use with modern TVs, monitors, and projectors, but it is not suitable for HDMI-ARC or HDMI-eARC applications.

7. FeinTech VAX01202 HDMI eARC Audio Extractor & Splitter

The VAX01202 is a versatile audio extractor that offers two operating modes. In the eARC audio extractor mode, it transmits audio signals from the TV to a sound system via HDMI. It supports all modern audio formats such as Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD, while video formats and gaming continue to function seamlessly like a direct HDMI connection. In the HDMI audio splitter mode, the VAX01202 splits the signal from an HDMI source, allowing the sound system to receive only the audio signal (with a black screen) while the TV gets the full video signal. This mode also works with older AV receivers and does not require an HDMI-eARC/ARC connection. The VAX01202 supports video formats up to 4K 60Hz, HDR, Dolby Vision, and a data rate of 18 Gbit/s. Volume control via HDMI-CEC is possible if the sound system supports it. A USB power supply is required. It is important to note that the VAX01202 is not suitable for operation with HDMI-ARC on soundbars and requires an HDMI-eARC connection on the TV for the eARC function.

8. FeinTech SP410 HDMI 2.1 Splitter 1 In 4 Out | 4K 120Hz | Downscaler

The SP410 HDMI 2.1 Splitter distributes the signal from a source device to four displays simultaneously, without switching between screens. It supports resolutions up to 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz, providing lossless video and audio transmission. For gaming, the splitter ensures smooth gameplay and reduced latency with VRR and ALLM. All displays receive the same signal unless the resolutions vary; in that case, the downscaler adjusts the signal accordingly. With HDMI-CEC, you can control the source device using the TV remote. The EDID management automatically adjusts the signal to the displays, and the EDID switch allows for manual adjustment for the best audio and video experience.

10. FeinTech Splitter

This HDMI 2.0 splitter distributes an HDMI signal up to Ultra HD resolution to 2 HDMI devices, such as TVs, monitors, projectors, or AV receivers. The splitter is backward compatible with lower resolutions at both the input and output. Through an integrated downscaler, 4K content can be displayed on a Full HD display. This allows for mixed operation of a 4K TV and a Full HD TV. An HDR signal remains HDR and may often not be processed correctly by the Full HD device. Therefore, when outputting both 4K and Full HD simultaneously, SDR should be set at the source. Additionally, the audio mode can be selected via a switch. This allows you to set the HDMI source to deliver the best possible audio format (Maximum) or an audio format that both connected HDMI devices support (Minimum). Please note that when connecting to an older AV receiver, it may not be able to process the HDR signals contained in the signal and may require an SDR signal.
