Aqara sensors are connected via ZigBee. Does any ZigBee base work? I have a ZigBee Base from Phillips Hue that is also HomeKit-compatible. Or do I have to have a base for each product line? I look forward to hearing about your experiences

Until Aqara makes its devices Matter/Thread compatible (some new ones are due to be introduced in early 2023) an Aqara Hub must be used, which then connects to HomeKit. I use the Aqara E1 Hub, which is plugged into the USB port of my internet router. It works well so far.

I don't know if it works with all of them. It works with other home automation hubs such as homey/ possibly also Homekit. But you always have to check with the hub. I would say that Hue is not possible because it is very limited as far as other systems are concerned. Other lamps almost have to be Hue-certified in order to run with the Hue.
