The connections of the NZXT F360 RGB Core are compatible with the ASUS ROG STRIX X870-A motherboard, but with some restrictions and requirements:

- The F360 RGB Core uses an eight-wire connection cable that cannot be connected directly to the mainboard without using the supplied adapter cable. With this adapter cable, you can connect the fan to the 5V ARGB header or the PWM connector of the mainboard.

- As the F360 RGB Core has a single-frame design with three integrated 120 mm fans, you only need a single connection for the entire fan, regardless of whether you buy one or more fans. This simplifies installation and reduces the number of connections required.

This means that two connections are sufficient if you buy two F360 RGB Core fans.
