To play music on Eco dot, you need to connect one of your Amazon Music, Spotify, Apple Music or Deezer accounts.

We bought this Echo Dot because of its appearance and deactivated the "Kids function". As a result, this Echo Dot works like a normal one without a display.
For linking with Synology, I quickly found these instructions from Synology (not tested myself):
