Question about i-tec Thunderbolt 3 Dual Dock

Can the dock be used between a 2020 Macbook Air and a 27" Cinemadisplay with Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter? The idea would be to only have to connect one cable to the Macbook for display, charging, network etc....

I haven't tested it myself, as I only use UBS-C->DVI...but it works well.
