Question about Thermaltake Toughpower TF1 1550W

can this be used safely with the new rtx 4090 cards without the fear of melting like the adapter does?

There's a lot discussion what causes the cables to melt. Seasonic as ex. already made a statement that their Power Supply Output is only rated at 450W (3x 8Pin to 12+4 Connector). Inno3D also limits their Cards out of the Box at 450W (while others can have a higher Usage), which should prevent burning cables.
So there is no clear answer to that (There's a lot of reasons cable could burn, won't list all possible reasons)
As far as i know Thermaltake didn't made any Statement regarding the melting Cables.

If you have patience, i would recommend you to wait till the whole thing with the Power Supplies and Connectors is cleared up.
