Does the adapter work with hard drive sizes beyond 2TB? On the StarTech page it says: "Currently tested with hard drives up to 2TB", which makes me a bit sceptical...

I have already used it with 4TB SSDs and 5TB 2.5" hard drives without any problems. The sector size was 512B for the SSDs and 4096B for the hard drives. The support depends on the operating system (ArchLinux in my case), not on the adapter.
