Good evening, I have just received the G5 essential docking station, but although I have connected it to my asus vivobook k513c, it does not work. Should I have taken the G5 Universal? If so, do I need to change the case or just buy a usb À adapter? The asus laptop has a usb-C port. Thank you for your help

Hello. What does "not working" mean? Do you have no picture on the external monitor? Are you unable to switch on the notebook via the docking station?

Hello.
The notebook must have the function that it can be started from the docking station (not all notebooks have this).
What kind of monitor do you have?
Start the notebook with the monitor open. Check in Windows whether the second monitor is recognised at all.
