Helpful answer

It should have a diameter of 25mm so that you have enough pressure when screwing it together. I found a black metal tube, 2m long, at Hornbach.

I mounted it on a stand for sunshades and placed it on my flat roof. It has been there for many years :-)

I was lucky with this pole for satellite dishes, is now at my garden cottage:
