Has anyone managed to connect a Surface Pro via Surface Dock to two HDMI WQHD displays using the Microsoft mDP to HDMI adapters?

I connected it via mDP to DP (v1.4) and the result is that the picture is "distorted". None of the many setting options have done anything for me. The screen I am using is the BenQ EX3501R.

I therefore contacted BenQ's Tech Support yesterday. Let's see what they think.
