Hello Community Does anyone know if an existing Sony battery grip (VG-C3EM/ VG-C4EM...) would fit on the Alpha 6700? I know most people don't want to add extra weight to a "light APS-C camera" ^^ but the weight doesn't matter to me. Thank you for an answer.

hi I just bought this camera. I previously had the Nex5 and Nex7, so it was sometimes difficult to hold the camera with large lenses. But the body of the 6700 is much bigger than its predecessors. I can now hold the camera well. I can't say whether it can be mounted.

No, it does not fit. The VG-C3EM fits the third generation of the Alpha 7 and the Alpha 9. The VG-C4EM fits the fourth generation of the A7 and the A9II. There is no battery grip from Sony for the APS-C cameras.
