### WhatsApp and smartphone connection

- The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra with LTE can perform some functions without a direct connection to a smartphone, but to fully use WhatsApp, the watch must first be connected to the smartphone and WhatsApp account verification must be performed. After verification, you can receive and reply to WhatsApp messages and calls on the watch, but the watch usually shares the internet connection with the smartphone or a Wi-Fi network.

### Making calls and sending/receiving text messages

- Without a connection to a smartphone or active internet access (either via LTE or Wi-Fi), you cannot make or receive calls or send or receive text messages. Some basic functions are possible, but an internet connection is required to use communication services such as WhatsApp or SMS.

### Compatibility with inductive chargers

- The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra uses Qi wireless charging technology, but not all universal Qi chargers are compatible. It is advisable to use the original Samsung charger or a specially designed charger, as the coils in the watch are different from those in smartphones.
