The Microsoft Suite for Mac annual subscription works very well on my MacBook Air 2024.
The subscription allows you to install it on up to 5 devices, I believe, with the benefit of updates.

For me, this is the best solution for using Office on a Mac for people like me who want the best of both environments.
My previous solution with Intel-based Macs and VMWare virtual machines under Windows is no longer really compatible with Apple's new M processors.
For the moment I've disabled Copilot because it interferes more than it helps...

Normally Office should be fine. The MAC was ordered for someone who only knows how to use pages! But as a technician info at Work no issue with office. Just Copilot isn't the best AI on Office Mac. At the same time it is a Microsoft tool... for the future no ideas it will depend on Microsoft and Apple!

That's not a problem. You can either pay around CHF 70 per year for the Microsoft 365 plan or purchase the Office 2024 Standard for Mac for around CHF 150.
