Hi, can anyone tell me if I can use DisplayPort to connect my tower to the docking station and use HDMI connected to a screen? Basically, Tower <-> Display port <-> Docking <-> HDMI <-> Screen? And that would make it possible to use a laptop and a tower thanks to docking, but I'm not sure that's possible (that docking manages display input and output via displayport and HDMI. Thanks in advance for your help.

This is not possible. Only one computer can be connected. The monitor connections on this docking station are outputs for two monitors.
I think you have two options:
1. the monitor has two independent inputs. Then you can switch between the two computers on the screen.
2. you have an additional switch for two computers on one monitor (called a KVM switch). Then you can switch between two computers.
Good luck.
