Hi I would like to connect an HP and a Lenovo laptop (not at the same time) with two monitors. Does this also work when the lid of the computer is closed? It may seem strange, but the laptop should not switch off when I close it. Does this work with this docking station? Thank you

Yes, it works, but you have to specify in the energy settings that the computer does not shut down or go into sleep mode when the laptop is closed.
