How strong is the radio signal from the sensor to the hub? We have a damp problem in the basement of the rented flat from time to time. Can the sensor transmit from the first floor to the second floor or is this hopeless due to the concrete ceilings and walls?

In my opinion, it's going to be very complicated. The sensor is powered by a small 1.5V battery. The radio signal strength will be quite low. Impossible to go through several concrete walls.
